The Capacity Building on Development of Financial Project Proposals

The National Climate Change Office, within the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Climate Change, is hosting a three-day Capacity Building Workshop on Developing Financial Project Proposals from December 10-12, 2024. This training, supported by the NDC Partnership and organized as part of the Improving Private Sector Investment in Climate Action in Belize (NDC PAF) Project, is facilitated by UNEP CCC experts. The workshop is designed to provide both private and public sector participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills in:

1. Climate finance concepts, sources, instruments, and guiding principles,
2. Barrier analysis and logical framework methodologies, and
3. Financial structuring and assessing wider impacts.

This workshop offers a valuable opportunity to deepen participants' understanding of investment concept formulation and funding proposal development, with a special emphasis on climate-focused initiatives.
